Pennine Care Charitable Foundation

About us

The Pennine Care Charitable Foundation focuses on supporting worthwhile causes for our communities, services users and staff, which go beyond the core NHS offer. This could include supporting community based groups, staff development projects or enhancing the therapeutic environments that are accessed by our service users and their families.

Every single donation we receive is important to us and the charity works hard to ensure that the funds we raise are used to have a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Making a donation

No matter how large or small, every penny is gratefully received.

You may wish to attach a specific request to your donation to indicate where you would like your funds to be spent.

Alternatively, your donation will be used on initiatives which have been prioritised by the Trust’s Charitable Committee. There are several ways to donate:

By cheque

Please complete our donation form and make cheques payable to Pennine Care Charitable Foundation and post to:

Pennine Care Charitable Foundation
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust
225 Old Street,

If you would like to your donation to be used for a particular purpose, please write this on the donation form.  Please include your contact details so that we can send you a receipt.

Gift aid

Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to charity. Gift Aid is worth 25p for every £1 donated so your donation is more valuable to us.

Please tick the Gift Aid box to confirm that you are over 18, a UK tax payer and would like Pennine Care Charitable Foundation to reclaim tax on the donations you have made in the last four years and any future gifts you make.

You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that all charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs will reclaim on your donations in the tax year (6th April – 5th April).  Please note that this does not include Council Tax or VAT. If you pay less income tax than the amount claimed on all your donations that tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

If your circumstances change, such as your name, address or tax status then please notify us so that we can update our records.

If you would like to talk to someone about a donation or how you can help raise money for the charity through sponsored events, please contact:
