If you’re interested in an exciting career in the NHS, we can offer you a taste of what it’s like.

Not only do we offer work experience in a range of clinical roles*, such as nursing or therapies, we can also offer you opportunities in lots of areas you might not immediately link with the NHS.

This includes maintenance roles (such as an electrician or plumber), information technology, finance and more.

Whatever work you’re interested in, our expert staff will support you every step of the way and help to develop your experience and knowledge.

*Clinical placements are only available to people aged 16 years and above (18 years and above for inpatient mental health services).

Speak to us

One of our team would be happy to talk to you about a placement, or any questions you might have. You can also check out the types of experience we offer below.

If your placement is an essential part of a university or college course, in the first instance please liaise with the placement team at your education provider, as they usually work with employers directly.

If you would like more information please email us at pcn-tr.workexp.penninecare@nhs.net and we will contact you within 10 working days of your email.
