Ray of sunshine 

This award is for a colleague or team that’s a joy to deal with. They’re always positive, boosting morale, and spreading their warmth far and wide. You can read the ray of sunshine award criteria here, to help you plan your supporting statement.

Great improvement

We’re looking for an ingenious example of innovation that’s worth its weight in gold. It might be a new way of working, a new service that's having a terrific impact, a piece of research, or a great solution to a small problem. It could also simply be a person or a team that consistently come up with creative ideas that help us do things differently. You can read the great improvement award criteria here, to help you plan your supporting statement.

Inclusion champion 

This person or team is truly committed to creating a place that’s inclusive; where everyone feels they have a voice, are understood, valued and can join in. So passionate they eat, sleep, and breathe equality and diversity. They’ll have made a noticeable impact through raising awareness and making changes, today and for the future. You can read the inclusion champion award criteria here, to help you plan your supporting statement.

Rising star 

Our rising star is one to watch! They can be any age but in the earlier stages of their NHS or Pennine Care career, throwing themselves into gaining new skills and learning every day. Already making their mark, they’re destined for great things and we want to celebrate this. You can read the rising star award criteria here to help you plan your supporting statement.

Inspirational leader 

This award is for an inspirational leader at any level, who has a magnificent impact on everyone they meet. We want to recognise the difference they make across Pennine Care. They’ll motivate everyone with their amazing attitude and style and invest their time to help others blossom. Patient, kind and fair, they’ll lead by example and be a role model for all. You can read the inspirational leader award criteria here to help you plan your supporting statement

Brilliant partnership 

This award is for a special team that works brilliantly in partnership with at least one of our own teams, or partners outside Pennine Care. Working together, they’re making improvements or changes that benefit our communities, the NHS and others. Their journey may not always be smooth, but they communicate well and make a real impact and valued contribution. You can read the brilliant partnership award criteria here to help you plan your supporting statement

Colleague of the year 

This award is for someone marvellous who really stands out. They’re dedicated and passionate about making a difference. They’re also kind, compassionate and fair towards everyone.

Team of the year 

Our team of the year is a special bunch of people who work brilliantly within and beyond their team. Through their great work they’ve improved patient care and experiences and have an exciting vision that lifts us all. You can read the team of the year award criteria here to help you plan your supporting statement

Community choice

Chosen by patients, carers, families, or partners, our community choice award recognises a fantastic team or individual who really makes a difference. They’ll go above and beyond to make sure our services are the best they can be, always treating everyone with kindness and respect. They’re special and make others feel special.   You can read the community choice award criteria here to help you plan your supporting statement
