The Healthy Minds service is for people over the age of 16 years, who are registered with a GP in the Tameside and Glossop areas. We offer support and treatment for those who are experiencing symptoms such as difficulty sleeping, low mood, stress, worry or anxiety, feelings of hopelessness or panic attacks.

Saxon Suite is an acute mental health ward offering twenty three beds for working age adults both male and female. Patients on the ward are here informally or detained under the Mental Health Act, often patients are unable to recognise that they are unwell during the first stages of a relapse in their mental state.

We are a 22-bedded adult acute in-patient ward for males and females between the ages of 18-65. Individuals have their own bedrooms with en-suite facilities. We provide assessment, care and treatment of individuals with a variety of mental health needs. Patients are admitted via A & E assessments, Mental Health Act assessments in the home, referrals from Access & Crisis Team and Home Treatment Team or from outpatient clinics. They are admitted due to experiencing a deterioration in their mental health, relapse of a mental health illness or at times of crisis (relating to mental health issues).
