NHS Oldham Talking Therapies is for people over the age of 16 years, who are registered with a GP in Oldham.
We offer support and treatment if you're experiencing low mood, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, and sleep difficulties.
We can help you deal with the effects of a long-term health condition, chronic pain, or post natal depression, We also offer couples therapy if you are struggling in your relationships, and psychosexual therapy for any intimacy difficulties.

Everyone who wishes to access the service will be invited to seminars to introduce the service and explain what we can offer, as well as learning strategies and techniques to use while waiting for treatment.

The service is for people with mild to moderate common mental health problems (e.g. depression and anxiety), with a strong focus on self-help. To help ensure referrals to our services are appropriate, please carefully consider whether it'll meet the patient's needs.
