Rochdale outpatients department
We provide secondary care to adults (age 18 and over) with mental health problems.
We receive referrals from primary care services, including GP’s, other community services, A&E liaison and psychology via the enhanced access service.
We also accept direct referrals from the adult social care team, criminal justice and prison liaison service. They can also be made directly as a transfer of care from consultant to consultant and other mental health services.
We are based on the Birch Hill Hospital site.
Our access guide has photographs and information about directions, parking, toilets, other facilities. It also has details of assistance available, such as wheelchairs, hearing loops, interpreters and information in different formats.
