Today is the start of Learning Disability Week (15-21 June 2020) and we'll be sharing lots of stories and advice throughout.  Join in the conversation with us on social media @PennineCareNHS and using #LDWeek2020.

Our learning disability services play a life-changing role for so many people across our communities. Here are just some of the headline numbers behind their fantastic work:

  • Over 15 specialist learning disability services
  • Around 1750 referrals received every year
  • Over 80 GP practices supported by our teams
  • More than 400 training events provided a year

Of course none of this is possible without working alongside some excellent local partners, including OPAL, Jigsaw, Mind, Pathways Associates, Mencap, PossAbilities and many more.

Maggie's story
