Resident doctors (formerly known as junior doctors) will be striking from 7am Tuesday 7 April until 7am Monday 13 April.
Here's an update and some guidance for patients and visitors about what to expect:
Appointments
If you have an appointment with any of our services please attend unless you hear from us. There's no need to call to check if your appointment is going ahead, we'll be in touch with you directly if we need to rearrange an appointment.
Visiting patients
You are still welcome to visit friends, family members and loved ones in our hospitals as usual. Please contact the service to arrange this.
Urgent mental health support
If you, or someone you know, is experiencing a mental health crisis, you can now call 111 and select the mental health option (option 2).
We also have a number of self-help resources on our website which may also be useful.
