Pennine Care People Awards 2025 - guest information

Date: Thursday 27 November 2025

Venue: Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel, Portland Street Manchester, M1 4PH

Time: 6pm to 10.30 pm (welcome drink from 6pm to 7pm. After party until late).

Please arrive no later than 6.45pm to allow time to seat you. Food will be served promptly at 7pm.

  • 6pm to 7pm: enjoy a welcome drink and chat to colleagues.
  • 7pm to 9pm: three course dinner(details below)
  • 9pm to 10.30pm: main ceremony:
    • Hear from radio and television presenter Stephanie Hirst​​​​​​. With a career spanning over 25 years, she presents some of the biggest breakfast shows in the country. She’s also an LGBT activist and public speaker, and regularly makes TV appearances. 
    • Stephanie will then lead the awards section of our evening when we'll learn more about our fabulous finalists and unveil our nine winners.
  • 10.30pm to late: dance the night away with our DJ. Our private bar will be open for drinks and accepts cash or card payment.

Starters:

  • Sweet roasted red peppers and tomato soup – vegan and gluten free
  • Classic prawn cocktail with king prawns, avocado, and crisp iceberg lettuce
  • Traditional Caesar salad with crisp romaine, Parmesan, croutons, and Caesar dressing - veggie

Mains

  • Chicken Fillet in Mushroom & Tarragon Sauce, with roasted carrots and crushed new potatoes – gluten free
  • Vegetable Lasagna, with basil-marinated tomatoes and garlicky ciabatta on the side – veggie
  • Thai Green Vegetable Curry, sticky jasmine rice – vegan and gluten free

Dessert

  • Sticky toffee pudding
  • Warm chocolate brownie, milk chocolate sauce, vanilla pod ice cream – gluten free
  • Warm apple and blackberry crumble, vanilla ice cream – vegan and gluten free
