Rowan Ward is a 12 bed unit that provides assessment and treatment of functional mental health problems in older people.
We are based on the ground floor of Parklands House, on the Royal Oldham Hospital site.

You are always welcome to visit your loved ones on the ward.
Please contact us before to arrange this and let us know if you are bringing any children with you. We will try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible.

Rowan ward is now completely smokefree, meaning smoking isn't allowed anywhere in or out of the hospital.
If you’re a patient on a ward and usually smoke, we have a variety of options to support you whilst in hospital. Please speak to any member of the ward team to discuss how we can support you.
