Moorside Ward is part of the John Elliott Unit.
This is a purpose built 36-bed mental health unit serving the population of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.
The unit is a two storey building housing two single-gender wards, a fully equipped gym, multi faith room, snoezelen and therapeutic activity room.
The ground floor also houses a separate suite to accommodate clients brought in to the unit under section 136 of the Mental Health Act.
We're based on the Birch Hill Hospital site.
