Submit a nomination to applaud an amazing nurse

International Nurses Day is a celebration of our nursing colleagues and nurses across the world. It falls on Friday 12 May, which marks Florence Nightingale's birthday.

We'd love you to get involved in our plans across Pennine Care, by submitting a nomination to applaud an amazing nurse who deserves special thanks.

This could be one of our nurses who has cared for you or a loved one, a nurse you know, or a nurse you work with.

Simply add their name and a line about why they’re amazing in this nomination form by Friday 5 May.

We will also be sharing lots on social media throughout the day, to celebrate nurses and the different nursing roles across Pennine Care. Follow us @PennineCareNHS and tag us in any posts you're sharing, along with the hashtag #NursesDay or #IND2023
