Stockport Healthy Young Minds (CAMHS) update – 24 March 2021

Following our last update in February 2021, we continue to see an increase in the number of young people experiencing a crisis. To ensure their safety, understandably seeing these young people needs to be our priority.

However, we are working with our partners to increase the number of appointments for ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Positively this will allow us to offer 180 additional appointments over the next six months.

We are looking at how we can work in new and innovative ways and are moving forward with plans to relocate to a permanent base. This will allow us to increase the number of appointments we can offer.

We are continually reviewing the waiting list and will write to you when an appointment becomes available for your child.

We are absolutely committed to seeing every child and young person as quickly as possible and would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging period.
