We’re pleased to announce that we’ve appointed Sarah Preedy as our new chief operating officer.
Sarah joined us in November 2020 and has been our network director of operations for specialist services for the last two years.
She has a huge amount of skill and experience as a mental health nurse and from previous senior roles, including those at North West Boroughs Healthcare and Lancashire Care.
This appointment follows an extensive and competitive selection and interview process.
Sarah will take over from Donan Kelly, who has been our chief operating officer for two years and who leaves in the autumn.
We would like to say congratulations to Sarah and wish Donan all the best, we know he will be a huge success in his new national role in Ireland.
Speaking on her appointment, Sarah added: "I'm delighted and feel very privileged to be appointed as chief operating officer. Pennine Care has lots to be proud of with our strong values, big ambitions and an inspirational vision for the future of mental health and learning disability services.
