We’re looking for people to take part in a new study into early intervention in psychosis services.

The EXTEND study is looking for people (aged 18+) who have used an early intervention in psychosis service, or who are a close relative or friend of someone who has, to join a patient advisory group.

This group will support a study into the optimal length of time an individual will benefit from attending the service.

As part of the group, you will be able to contribute to research documents, give feedback on research plans and emerging research findings.

You will meet as a group approximately three times a year, for three years, and will be financially reimbursed (including travel and training for attendance at meetings).

Dr Paul French, one of our clinical researchers, is one of the chief investigators for the study. If you’re interested, please contact Paul on paul.french8@nhs.net
