We’re looking to recruit 19 trainee associate psychological practitioners (TAPPs) to work within our secondary care settings.

This includes positions with our adult community mental health teams, children and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), learning disabilities services, and Tameside early intervention team.

You’ll be employed at a band 4 level, work in clinical settings under the supervision of a qualified psychological professional, with university study one day a week either remotely or in person at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

You'll work towards a funded Postgraduate Diploma Associate Practitioner Psychology (PGDip APP). Upon successful completion of the placement and academic requirements (1 year), you will qualify as a band 5 associate psychological practitioner (APP).

This programme is available across the North West to create a new career gateway for psychology graduates.
