Community Mental Health Team West/Councillor Lane Resource Centre
The community mental health team focuses on supporting and working with people with people who have severe and enduring mental illness, those with personality disorder, as well as those with common mental health problems of a moderate to severe nature.
We work with people and their carers from a psycho-social intervention perspective, looking not just at their diagnosis but at the whole person, including their family life, employment, housing, psychological needs and their hopes and aspirations.
The service works towards recovery both in terms of symptom reduction and quality of life, promoting social inclusion and independence.
We provide support for adults aged 18 to 65.
