Rochdale Community Dental Service (CDS)

The Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Community Dental Service provides:

  • Treatment and care for individuals whose special requirements cannot be met by a general dental practice
  • A general anaesthetic service for young children who need a tooth removing
  • Treatment for people with complex needs, who need treatment under general anaesthetic or sedation

Our Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale community dental clinics are available at the Phoenix Centre in Heywood, Nye Bevan House in Rochdale town centre and at Whitehall Street Clinic (near Rochdale Infirmary).

However procedures carried out under general anaesthetic are undertaken in a hospital setting by one of our experienced dentists.
