Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Paediatric Nurse Practitioner
We aim to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and a referral to the appropriate service if required, for children 0 to 19 years with a minor illness.
This is carried out in a clinic setting.
Parents and carers can self-refer via the Single Point of Access (details below) or can ask any health professional to make a referral on their behalf. Click here for a list of conditions that the Paediatric Nurse Practitioner can help with.
We are available Monday to Thursday from 8am to 6pm and Friday from 8am to 4pm. The opening times of the SPOA are provided below.
You can also like us on Facebook for more updates and topical information.
The paediatric nurse practitioners are part of the Children’s Acute and Ongoing Needs Service (CAONS), which launched in September 2016. Click here to find out more about the CAONS.
The CAONS include a number of specialisms for children and young people (details via above link) and all can accessed via a Single Point of Access (contact details below).
The address provided below is a central hub for all specialisms, however the paediatric nurse practitioner provides services at a range of community-based venues.
