Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Children’s Complex/Palliative Care
We provide care, advice and support to children and young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, or who have complex needs.
We are part of the children's acute and ongoing needs service (CAONS). Click here for further details about the CAONS.
We provide palliative care to babies, children or young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition. We also care for babies, children and young people with complex health needs at home.
We aim to keep you out of hospital, or make sure you can come home as quickly as possible.
You are at the heart of the care we provide and we will discuss your needs with you and your family.
We will then develop a package of care, which includes managing symptoms and any emotional support you might need.
This involves working closely with other professionals and services, to make sure you receive the right support.
We want to provide high quality nursing care to make sure you experience the best health and quality of life possible throughout your journey.
We also support young people to transition from children's to adult services.
