Tameside and Glossop Mental Health Open Door
We are the single point of entry into mental health services within the borough.
We receive all routine (non-urgent) referrals into mental health services. We aim to identify the most appropriate mental health support within the rich community mental health offer in order to meet your needs.
We provide a triage function and, if required, complete routine assessments to identify the most appropriate support available.
We work as part of the Living Life Well Neighbourhood Mental Health network to ensure that you can access a range of support quickly and easily. This may include signposting to other services and working with other agencies or service providers within the wider community offer in order to ensure your needs are appropriately met.
We work in partnership with a range of other organisations including the Big Life Group, Tameside and Glossop Metropolitan Borough Council and Tameside and Glossop Mind to deliver the neighbourhood mental health team.
