We are committed to ensuring staff and service users are free from discrimination regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.
One of the key events we support is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) History Month which takes place in February. We also support Manchester Pride (more on that below).
LGBT History Month focuses on increasing the visibility of LGBT people, LGBT milestones throughout history and issues that still exist. The goal is to promote equality and diversity for the benefit of everyone.

One of the ways we support our staff who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans (LGBT) is through a dedicated staff network.
The group meets regularly to support staff in their working lives, raise awareness of issues affecting the LGBT community and helping the us keep the workplace free from discrimination.
Every year the group actively participates in the Manchester Pride Parade, along with supporting a number of other events.
