Claudette Elliott - Deputy Chair

Claudette Elliot.pngClaudette joined us as a non-executive director in November 2020 and was appointed deputy chair in September 2023.

Claudette is a highly respected public sector senior manager with over 38 years’ experience in health and social care.

Claudette grew up in Wythenshawe and her first job was at Wythenshawe Hospital as an auxillary nurse. She qualified as a social worker in 1992 and in 1999 became the assistant director for older peoples services, before returning to the NHS in 2003. She spent 4 years as the chief operating officer/deputy chief officer in South Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group, where she lead the development of integrated health and care teams working with primary care and mental health services.

Claudette started as a management consultant in 2020, with her first assignment at King's College Hospital London, and Southeast London Integrated Care System. She spent 18 months as programme director in the Shropshire Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care System driving forward their local care programme,  working with system leaders across health and local government.

Claudette is committed to supporting ethical and values based practice, is a compassionate leader, and feels strongly about supporting and working with staff, engaging with people using services to ensure they have a positive experiences, along with connecting with local residents and communities.
