Carol Rushton, our memory service clinical lead based in Stockport, was crowned best dementia nurse specialist at the National Dementia Care Awards.
Carol, who was nominated by her colleagues Nicole Alkemade, Jackie Kindell and Brigid Flanagan, won the award for being an inspirational clinical leader within the dementia service.
Congratulations as well to EDUCATE Stockport - a dementia patient group which our Stockport dementia team facilitates. They won the best dementia training initiative award, for their Learning from Living with Dementia awareness course.
