Our rapid response teams are part of the crisis care pathway. Our four teams cover the whole of Greater Manchester as follows:

  • North team: Bury, Rochdale and Oldham - run by Pennine Care NHS
  • South team: Stockport, Tameside and Glossop - run by Pennine Care NHS
  • West team: Wigan and Bolton - run by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS
  • Central team: Manchester, Salford, and Trafford - run by Manchester University NHS

We provide consultation, risk assessment and management for young people up to the age of 18 who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

We will continue to support you, along with your family, for up to 72 hours - working with you to create a crisis plan.

Currently we accept referrals from the following routes: CAMHS services, all age mental health liasion, 24 hour mental health crisis lines, 111 and all 16-18 adult mental health services.

Our operational hours are between the hours of 8am and 10pm. We accept referrals until 9:30pm and young people open to the service can access until 10pm.
