If you're ready to find out if transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) can offer you a brighter future, here's how to refer. We look forward to hearing from you.
If you're currently receiving care from a Pennine Care professional, please ask your mental health team or your psychiatrist to refer you to Pennine Care transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) service.
If you live in one of these boroughs, ask your local neighbourhood mental health team to complete a mental health assessment to see if you are suitable for transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment. Click on your borough link below for contact details:
We also accept referrals from people who don't live in the area covered by Pennine Care (Bury, Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, Tameside, Glossop).
We cover the other five boroughs of Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, and further afield.
Please contact us on 07912 455038 or pcn-tr.pctmsservice@nhs.net to make a referral.
You can also ask a health and care professional to make the referral on your behalf.
Once we receive your enquiry, we'll speak to you about how you'd like to fund your treatment. There are three options:
- Application to your local integrated care board for NHS funding - your GP or mental health professional can help with this
- Self-funding
- Using your private health insurance
