Trafford Podiatry Services
Podiatry staff work in partnership with patients, their carers, primary and secondary health care teams to promote foot health, help people live more independently and minimise the risk of amputation for people with advanced or complex foot complications.
We also provide expert training and education for health professionals across Trafford.
Specific Podiatry Services include: Podiatry assessments, nail surgery, biomechanical assessment (how a person walks and moves) providing orthosis, (fittings that assist patients) and foot protection and wound management for high-risk patients, such as people with diabetes.
Below you can find some patient information leaflets that are available to download and may be helpful to refer to before, during or after treatment.
Self-care advice and information
To support you to effectively and confidently manage and understand your condition and look after your feet, we have pulled together a library of resources. These are available on our podiatry landing page and include factsheets, apps, websites and a nail trimming advice video.
