Our service is delivered by a range of trained professionals, including therapists and counsellors, who will find a level of treatment that is right for you.
You'll have a choice of either SilverCloud or courses:
SilverCloud is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can start the therapy straight away and it can be done at a time and place that suits you.
In most cases, you'll get weekly online support from your therapist. It has been shown to be more effective than one-to-one therapy.
You'll also have access to the system for a year after you’ve been discharged from the service.

We offer eight-week courses that will help you develop skills to manage your mood or anxiety. These are available in your local area, with a choice of course and times you can attend.
The sessions are informal and relaxed, and you don’t have to talk about your problems if you don’t want to. The courses are on a rolling programme, so you'll never have to wait more than a few weeks to join.

When you have your first assessment appointment with a member of our team, you'll have plenty of time to talk through the two options to decide which one is right for you.
Most people find that online therapy or a wellbeing course is all they need to feel better; but if you still need extra help after completing these, we will then offer you one-to-one therapy.
We also offer specialist treatments, for example eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing.
You can access the NHS Talking Therapies service by completing an online referral form.

Please note we are an 'IAPT plus service', delivered by partnership agencies including Pennine Care NHS, Big Life Group and MIND. By submitting a self-referral you are consenting to your referral information being shared with these service providers. You will be contacted by the most appropriate agency to meet the needs identified within your referral.
Following the closure of the online professional referral portal, professional referrals to Healthy Minds are still accepted. However please carefully consider whether it’s appropriate for the patient.
The service is for people with mild to moderate common mental health problems (e.g. depression and anxiety), with a strong focus on self-help. This is why self-referral is the preferred route.
If a professional referral is appropriate, you can email a referral form to us. Pennine Care staff can access a copy of the referral form on the staff intranet. Otherwise please contact us for a copy. Outpatient psychiatry letters are also still accepted.
