Stansfield Place

We provide a rehabilitation service for men with a serious mental illness and range of other complex needs.

For example, support for schizophrenia or bi-polar disorder which may also be complicated with other mental health issues such as anxiety or drug and alcohol misuse.

Our unit can support 12 men at any one time.

We aim to deliver effective rehabilitation and recovery, as an alternative to inpatient or community services, where your needs cannot be met by less intensive adult mental health services.

We run a two-year recovery pathway. At the end of this, you may be discharged to a range of places including care homes, supported accommodation, back home to your family, or your own flat. We will make this decision with you, your care coordinator and family so it best meets your needs.

You can refer to us via the clinical pathway team - click the menu below for more info.
