Medicines are a central component in the delivery of high quality healthcare and contribute significantly to successful outcomes for patients.
Medicines management has two key goals: The clinical and cost effective use of medicines and the safe and secure handling of medicines. These are achieved through evidence-based practice and effective risk management.
