Trafford Wellbeing Wednesday cancer support
The Macmillan Wellbeing Centre in Trafford is holding monthly ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ sessions for any Trafford resident affected by cancer.
Macmillan Wellbeing Centre provides practical, emotional and psychological support to people (including families and carers) who are affected by cancer or other serious life changing illnesses.
The next Wellbeing Wednesday is on 19 July at 1.30pm – with future sessions set to continue on the third Wednesday of every month.
Wellbeing Wednesdays are open to clients or local people affected by cancer, including patients, carers and family members.
Each session will also feature information on a relevant, helpful topic, followed by the opportunity to mingle with others over tea or coffee.
Clients at the centre have given overwhelming feedback that the opportunity to mix with others going through similar situations is hugely beneficial to their wellbeing.
Booking a place is not necessary but please feel free to contact the Wellbeing Centre for more information on 0161 746 2080.
Macmillan Wellbeing Centre is located on the grounds of Trafford General Hospital, Moorside Road, Davyhulme, Manchester, M41 5SN.
