£10k charity campaign to benefit Rochdale young people
The Rochdale team from voluntary organisation Muslim Community Events (MCE) has chosen our Rochdale borough young people's emotional health and wellbeing service #Thrive to benefit from their £10k Young Voices fundraising project.
As part of the project on Sunday 11 June 2017, residents can purchase a delicious Asian-inspired meal in exchange for a donation to #Thrive.
Chicken biryani is available for a donation of £4 and gajar halwa for a donation of £3.
To purchase a meal, simply:
- Place your order in advance by phoning 0785 843 3403. The deadline for orders is 8pm on Friday 9 June (to enable the team to buy adequate ingredients)
- Collect between 6pm and 8pm on Sunday 11 June from Castlemere Community Centre, 60 Tweedale Street, Rochdale, OL11 1HH
- Pay on collection
Please note that there will be limited availability.
