Young people in Rochdale to benefit from £10k fundraising project

Young people in the Rochdale borough are set to benefit from a £10k fundraising project that has launched today (12 May 2017).

The Rochdale team from voluntary organisation Muslim Community Events (MCE) has chosen the borough's #Thrive service to benefit from their fundraising activities.

#Thrive is an emotional health and wellbeing service for young people aged up to 19 years in the Rochdale borough.

The fundraising campaign is called Young voices: Raising awareness of mental health in the Rochdale borough and the target is £10,000.  The money will be used to support the service to deliver care and support.

Funds will be raised through a range of activities over the next couple of months. This includes a charity car wash, sponsored walks and a summer bbq featuring the infamous MCE burger!

Look out for further details soon.
