Consultation on the redesign of urgent care services in Bury – confirmation of public meetings

Patients and the public of Bury are invited to share their views on a proposed
future model for urgent care in Bury at two public meetings.

NHS Bury Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) launched a consultation on its urgent care redesign last month, following a period of public engagement.

Through the consultation, the CCG aims to capture the views and feedback from local people, stakeholders and health care professionals alike.  The consultation will run until Tuesday 11th April 2017 at 5pm.

Urgent care services are those that are designed to assist with patients with an illness or injury that does not appear to be an emergency, but is considered too urgent to wait for routine care.

At the two public meetings, there will be an opportunity to learn more about the proposed model and ask questions.

The meetings will take place on:

  • 22nd March 2017 (Wednesday), 7 - 9pm, Bury Town Hall, Main Hall, Bury,BL9 0SW
  • 23rd March 2017 (Thursday), 7 - 9pm, Paragon Theatre, Prestwich Arts College, Heys Road, Prestwich, M25 1JZ
