Chairman’s thank you lunch for service users, carers and Governors
Service users, hospital managers, carers and governors who support the work of Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust attended a thank you lunch hosted by Chairman John Schofield in recognition of the contributions they make to the work of the Trust.
The event, held at Dukinfield Town Hall, was attended by members of the Trust Board of Directors and the Mental Health Service User and Carer Forum.
Also in attendance were the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) Co-trainers, who are service users and carers who help with the delivery of customer care, anti-stigma and mental health awareness.
The Chairman thanked all the attendees for their contributions to the Trust.
He said: “The work of Governors, Co-trainers, Hospital Managers and forum members is vital in supporting Pennine Care to continue to deliver excellent services and compassionate care.
“I’d like to thank all those who take time to support our staff and enrich the services we provide to patients and families.”
The event also included a performance by the Trust’s choir who sang popular carols before a traditional Christmas lunch was served.
