Judith Crosby - Executive Director of Service Development and Sustainability
Judith was appointed as Executive Director of Service Development and Sustainability in September 2015, prior to which Judith was the Deputy Director of Finance at Pennine Care, a position she held since 2002.
In her current role, Judith leads on the design and implementation of the Trust’s Service Development Strategy. This involves ensuring that plans are in place to deliver safe and sustainable services in the short and medium term and that sustainable long term plans are developed in line with commissioning requirements across the health and social care system.
Over the next 12 months, Judith’s priorities will be to support the construction of a 2016/17 plan for services that ensures safe delivery of care within the financial envelope available and to revisit the Trust’s longer term Service Development Plan, to ensure it is aligned with the priorities of the Greater Manchester Devolution programme and expectations of local commissioners.
Judith will also continue to promote best practice in terms of financial efficiency by reviewing procurement and arrangements in relation to Bank and Agency staff, while also reviewing the resource requirements for developing services, implementing change and evaluating impacts based on the Trust’s agreed strategic direction.
Judith has worked in NHS Finance since 1986 and has been with Pennine Care since its creation in 2002, having previously worked for other NHS organisations in Stockport and Tameside and Glossop.
